Nursing Assistant Prep Class ( NA)
A Nursing Assistant works under the supervision of nursing or medical staff to provide basic care in hospitals, nursing homes, physician’s offices, clinics, and in-home care. Most Nursing Assistants help with activities that patients cannot do for themselves such as bathing and feeding. Nursing Assistants also collect information about the patients for the nursing staff. This course teaches skills for certification and employment as nursing assistants.
Requirements:

Applicant must be 17 years old or older.

High school diploma or GED certificate

Social Security Card
(If you do not have a HS/GED, you will be required to take the TABE test.)
Hands-on Learning Includes:
Nursing Skills
Anatomy and Physiology
Nutrition and Infection Control
Students also gain plenty of hands-on-experience during clinical activities.

Private Homes.
The Prep Class is 3 Weeks
Class Times: Monday - Thursday 3pm-7pm or 5:30pm-9:30pm
